TULSA, Okla. – Junior Murkel Dellien knocked off No. 34 Ferran Calvo on his way to the Round of 16, Friday, at the ITA Central Regional in Tulsa.
Dellien and Haru Inoue teamed up in doubles play to start the day for the Shockers. The pair went head-to-head against Josh Howard-Tripp and Alex Reco of Arkansas. After jumping out to an early lead, the Shocker duo fell in a one-set tiebreaker (8-7(2)).
Across the way, Marius Frosa and Eddie Stoica were on the court against Oklahoma's Jochen Bertsch and Max Stewart.
