Wichita State baseball All-American Conor Gillaspie hit a three-home run for the San Francisco Giants on Oct. 5 to help the team to a 3-0 win over the New York Mets in the National League Wild Card Game.
Conor, who wore No. 34, played third base for the Shockers from 2006-08. He is from Omaha, Neb., and went to Millard North High School. He was the 37th pick of the 2008 MLB Draft to the San Francisco Giants and earned many honors while at Wichita State including:
