Comeback Bid Falls Short to Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - - Wichita State's comeback bid fell just short to Arkansas, falling 4-3 Saturday at the Billingsley Tennis Center in Fayetteville.

DOUBLES
The Shockers clinched the doubles point for the fourth time this season, winning in flights one and two. No. 27 Murkel Dellien and Marius Frosa took down Adam Sanjurjo and Pedro Alonso in flight one (6-2), followed by junior Andrea Caligiana and senior Miroslav Herzan dropping Alex Reco and Branch Terrell of Arkansas (6-4) to give the Shockers an early 1-0 lead.
