WICHITA, Kan. – Trajata Colbert received a pass from the sideline and scored the go-ahead layup with 3.9 seconds remaining to give Wichita State a 72-70 win over red-hot Temple.
Wichita State (11-7, 3-2) snapped Temple's five-game winning streak and used another second half comeback to pull off the victory. For the second straight game Wichita State faced a halftime deficit of at least eight points (trailed Tulsa by 13).
Mariah McCully continued her scoring outburst with a team-high 15 points, extending her streak of 10 or more to 12 consecutive games.
