MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Wichita State's run in the 2019 Air Force Reserve American Athletic Conference Championship came to an end with a 66-63 loss to No. 2 seed Cincinnati.
The Shockers battled back from 13 down in the second half to tie it at 63, but the Bearcats used a layup and a free throw in the last 30 seconds to earn the win.
Markis McDuffie finished with 18 points, while Samajae Haynes-Jones added 17.
With the loss, the Shockers fall to 19-14 overall and had their six-game winning streak snapped.
