SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif – The Wichita State University volleyball team fell at Cal Poly, 3-2, on Friday, Sept. 6, in the ShareSLO Mustang Challenge inside the Mott Athletics Center. The set scores were 21-25, 25-17, 25-22, 21-25 and 11-15.
Wichita State (2-3) is scheduled to wrap up competition in the ShareSLO Mustang Challenge with a 2 p.m. CT (noon PT) match vs. North Texas Saturday, Sept. 7.
Sophomore hit a career-best .543 with a match-high 18 kills on 35 attempts and no errors, and tied her career-high with a pair of solo blocks, while freshmen (17 kills, team-high 15 digs) and (14 kills, 12 digs) both compiled double-doubles.
