FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Michael Bryan qualified to his second-straight NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the hammer, and Taran Taylor punched his ticket to Eugene in the javelin Wednesday at John McDonnell Field in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
With no finals in the throwing events, the athletes had just three throws to record top-12 marks. With the first throw of the third flight of hammer, Bryan secured his spot in the NCAA Finals with a third-place throw of 69.32m/227'5"; although, all three of his throws easily would have sent him on to Eugene.
