Wichita State got off to a hot start, but couldn’t carry efficient shooting and timed passes in the second half.

A once 16-point first-half lead quickly dissipated in the second half as the Memphis Tigers handed WSU its second loss in a row. Memphis swept the home-and-away series between the two teams.

Jamarius Burton helped lead the Shockers back into contention in the second half, capping an 8-0 run after the Shockers had fell into as much as a 12-point hole. Ricky Torres swiped the ball from Tyler Harris, leading Markis McDuffie to make a three-pointer to tie the game at 75 points with 4:03 left in the game.
