WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State senior guard Seraphine Bastin has been named the American Athletic Conference Ambassador Award winner, it was announced Sunday afternoon.
The Ambassador Award is awarded to the student-athlete who reflects and celebrates the ideals of sportsmanship on and off the court. Emphasis on ethical behavior, fair play and integrity and community service are considered when selecting the winner of the Ambassador Award.
"Seraphine has proven all these qualities in her tenure at Wichita State," head coach Keith Adams said. "She brings great work ethic, integrity and high character to the community, the classroom and the court.
