WICHITA, Kan. -- The Wichita State baseball team put three players on the American Athletic Conference weekly awards, as Payton Tolle was named Player of the Week, Grant Adler was named Pitcher of the Week, and Garrett Pennington was named to the Honor Roll.
This is the second Player of the Week award for Tolle, the second Pitcher of the Week for Adler, and the second Honor Roll selection for Pennington.
Tolle kicked off a dominant weekend sweep of #7-ranked East Carolina with a complete game shutout in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader.
