WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State has signed 19 baseball players in the early signing period, Head Coach Todd Butler announced on Nov. 15.
The signing class includes athletes from eight states including Texas (10), Kansas (2), Illinois (2), Nebraska (1), Colorado (1), Virginia (1), Missouri (1) and Arkansas (1). The class features five outfielders, four right-handed pitchers, three infielders, three left-handed pitchers, two two-way players and two catchers.
"We are excited to announce our 2018 recruiting class that includes balance on the mound and the playing field," Butler said. "The class features left and right-handed pitching along with a balanced assortment of hitters from both sides of the plate.
