KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Belfast Giants have signed Zak Galambos to a professional contract for the 2024-25 season.
Galambos joined the program prior to the 2022-23 season and immediately made an impact. He led all defenseman on the team in points, goals and assists, playing in all 39 games.
During his final year with the team in 2023-24, Galambos was just as dominant. Once again, he led all defenseman on the team in goals and points, while boasting a +16 rating. His four game-winning goals tied for the team lead.
He was strong in big moments, including a goal in the 2023-24 NCAA Tournament against Michigan State.
