KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan quarterback Zach Terrell has been named a 2016 Davey O'Brien Award semifinalist, given to the nation's top quarterback, the Davey O'Brien National Selection Committee announced today. Terrell is one of 18 semifinalists across the country to be named. He is the only quarterback in the MAC to earn the honor.
This season, Terrell is fourth in the country in passing efficiency, fifth in completion percentage, sixth in yards per pass attempt and 12th in passing TDs. He surpassed the 11,000 passing yard mark for his career on Tuesday night against Kent State.
