KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan quarterback Zach Terrell has been named an Academic All-American the College Sports Information Directors of America announced today. Terrell is the first Bronco to earn the honor since John Potter in 2011.
Terrell owns a 4.00 GPA in his MBA pursuit after finishing his undergraduate studies with a 3.66 in finance. He is currently a finalist for the Campbell Trophy, given to the top scholar-athlete in the country by the National Football Foundation.
This season Terrell has led the Broncos to the best season offensively speaking in program history, scoring a record 538 points, shattering the record set last season of 482.
