RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- The Western Michigan men's tennis team wrapped up its competition at Northern Illinois' River Forest Collegiate Invite on Friday and Saturday.
#1 SINGLES
Freshman Oscar Corwin went 1-2 in the top singles bracket. Corwin dropped his first match to Northern Illinois' Iker Arrast. He rebounded with a 6-3, 7-5 win over Washington University's Colin Scruggs to advance to the fifth-place match on Saturday. Corwin was bested by Marquette's Tristan Ryerson 7-6 (3), 6-3.
#2 SINGLES
Freshman Alex Antonopoulos also went 1-2 in his first collegiate invitational.
