TOLEDO, Ohio -- The Western Michigan women's tennis team has now won five straight and nine of its last 11 matches with a 5-2 win over Toledo Sunday afternoon on the road.
The Broncos improved to 16-6 overall and 5-1 in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) while the Rockets fall to 8-11 and 2-3 in the MAC.
"I've said it before and I'll say it again, any win on the road is big," head coach Ryan Tomlinson said. "We didn't play very well today but we fought hard and got the win. It's always great to get the doubles point and then to get quick ones out of Fevralev, Eristavi and Ashby.
