KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan women's tennis team returns home to host Oakland on Friday at 11 a.m. and Illinois-Chicago on Saturday at 12 p.m. at West Hills Athletic Club. Admission is free.
The Broncos (1-2) returned from a road trip to Nebraska, where they dropped two hard-fought matches. WMU took the doubles point against the Cornhuskers but ultimately fell 4-1. Last Saturday the team squared off against Utah State, in Lincoln, and fell 4-3, once against claiming the doubles point.
The Grizzlies are opening their spring season at WMU on Friday, before heading to Toledo to take on the Rockets on Saturday.
