KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan women's tennis team heads on the road to open Mid-American Conference play at Ball State on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Broncos (9-6) wrapped up the regular season last weekend, splitting matches with UIC and Oakland at West Hills Athletic Club. WMU was bested by the Flames, 7-0, in a match that featured four of the six singles contests going to three sets. Western Michigan rebounded later in the day against the Golden Grizzlies, winning the doubles point and then cruising in singles.
SCOUTING THE CARDINALS
Ball State enters MAC play with a 6-4 record and has won its last three matches, picking up victories over Butler (6-1), Austin Peay (4-3) and Middle Tennessee (4-3).
