KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team hosts Oakland on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the West Hills Athletic Club.
Sunday's match is the ninth meeting all-time between the Broncos and Golden Grizzlies. WMU is 8-0 all-time against OU, with the last match coming last season. Western Michigan narrowly defeated Oakland, 4-3, in Kalamazoo.
Oakland has an 0-4 record this season, dropping double-headers at Ball State and at Eastern Michigan.
REMAINING PERFECT
Western Michigan is off to a perfect start, opening the season 7-0. But it's not just the team record that is perfect, five athletes that have played in five or more singles matches also have perfect records.
