KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan women's tennis team had its three-match winning streak snapped by a 5-2 setback to Marquette on Sunday inside the West Hills Athletic Club. The Broncos fell behind 5-0 to the Golden Eagles before earning the last two singles decisions.
Individually, junior Valerie Riegraf came back for a three-set victory on court four and won her sixth-straight match in the process.
"I am really, really proud of the way we competed today," head coach Ryan Tomlinson said. "The final score isn't indicative of the outcome.
