PALOS VERDES, Calif. -- The Western Michigan women's tennis team had its three-match winning streak snapped by California State-Northridge Sunday afternoon at the Kramer Club as the Matadors came away with a 4-3 win. The Broncos were coming off a 5-2 win over Cal State-Los Angeles and this will conclude their West Coast trip.
"We got exactly what we wanted out of this trip; outdoor tennis and the chance to play some good teams. This will pay off for us down the stretch," head coach Ryan Tomlinson said. "Today came down to the doubles point, but tt was a close match.
