SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Western Michigan women's tennis team dropped its match at Notre Dame, 7-0, on Saturday.
The Broncos dropped the doubles point after suffering losses at No. 2 and No. 3 by scores of 6-1 and 6-0.
In singles, the Fighting Irish won every match by in two sets.
"We had a tough test today in Notre Dame," said head coach Joelle Kissell. "They came out with a lot of energy and confidence and carried that throughout the match. It was good to be able to see that level early in our season and our girls were fighting hard.
