EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team fell at Michigan State, 4-0, on Sunday afternoon.
MSU took the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3. Polina Khotko and Ariane Souligny took Issey Purser and Ria Bhakta the distance before falling, 7-5, at No. 3. Lindsey Zieglar and Valeriya Monko were leading 6-5, at No. 1 as doubles concluded and their match went unfinished.
Michigan State picked up two-set wins at No. 1 No. 4, and No. 6 as the match was finished.
