BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team picked up its second road win in Mid-American Conference play this season, defeating Buffalo 4-3 on Friday afternoon.
WMU improved to 4-1 in conference play and 14-1 overall on the season, including an impressive 5-0 on the road.
It was a tight battle for the doubles point. Buffalo's Pia Schwarz and Ambre Amat put the Bulls ahead after defeating Femke Tjona-A-Joe and , 6-4. The Broncos evented it at 1-1 after Lindsey Zieglear and won at No. 3 over Azra Deniz Comlek and Lolina Schietekat Sedas 6-4.
