DEKALB, Ill. – Western Michigan women' s tennis fell in a tight contest on the road Friday afternoon at Northern Illinois, as the Huskies came away with a 4-3 win over the Broncos.

The Huskies came out and grabbed the doubles point early, earning wins at No. 1 and No. 3 while the court was tied at No. 2 when NIU clinched. In singles play, senior Barbare Eristavi kept her good spring going with a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 4 to improve to a team-best 24-7 overall and 6-1 in the MAC.
