EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Western Michigan women’s tennis team fell on the road against Big Ten foe and No. 75 ranked Michigan State 5-2 Friday night. The Broncos fall to 7-4 this season while the Spartans improve to 5-3 and 5-1 at home.
After the Spartans claimed the doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots, junior Barbare Eristavi earned a 6-2, 6-1 win in the No. 4 spot to tie it at 1-1. The Spartans battled back to claim the next three singles points and clinch the win.
