MUNCIE, Ind., -- The Western Michigan women's tennis team clinched a spot in the 2024 Mid-American Conference Tournament after a 5-2 win on the road at Ball State on Sunday.
The Broncos (15-6, 6-2 MAC) are now set to return to the MAC Tournament for the first time since 2019.
Ball State took the doubles point with a pair of 6-2 wins.
BSU's Isabel Tanjuatco put more pressure on the Broncos, pushing the Cardinals' lead to 2-0 after a 6-1, 6-2 win over at No. 5. Western Michigan then rattled off five straight wins to take the match.
