Oxford, Ohio- Western Michigan women’s tennis avenged their loss to Miami in the regular season with a tenacious performance in the semifinals of the Mid-American Conference Tournament. On Saturday afternoon, the Brown and Gold defeated the defending champions 4-2. First year head coach Ryan Tomlinson will lead the Broncos to face No. 1 seed Ball State in the MAC Championship on Sunday, May 1 at noon in Oxford, Ohio.
The No. 3 seed Broncos will have a chance to win their sixth MAC Tournament Championship.
"Great team win today," Tomlinson said. "The girls did a nice job of competing with energy.
