KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan women's soccer team battled to a 2-2 draw with Ball State earlier this afternoon at the WMU Soccer Complex. The tie pushes the Broncos' record to 6-3-2 overall and 2-0-2 in Mid-American Conference play.
"We knew that our opponents today would be a really challenging matchup for us, and we didn't do enough in the first half to earn the win," head coach said. "We were pleased with the response and effort to implement our team game plan in the second half."
It didn't take long for either team to get going offensively, as both squads scored on their first shots of the game.
