KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's soccer team hosted Akron on Sunday, with the game finishing in a 0-0 tie. Prior to the game the team honored its senior class, a class of seven women that will go down in program history.
It was originally made up of Liz Abro, Mackenzie Barber, Jewell Edwards, Megan Ross and Olivia Vollmers in 2013. Makenzie Larson and Candice Uhl both joined a year later, but combined they have been the winningest class over a four-year period in Western Michigan history with 47 wins.
