KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan women's soccer team heads out on the road for the first of two exhibition games prior to the start of the regular season, traveling to Oakland University on Sunday for a game with the Golden Grizzlies at 2 p.m.
WMU also heads to Valparaiso next Friday, Aug. 13, for a 6 p.m. showdown with the Crusaders.
Sunday's game is the first against a non-Mid-American Conference opponent since the Broncos hosted Loyola Chicago on Sept. 20, 2019. Last season the Broncos competed only in MAC games due to the COVID-19 shortened and rearranged season that took place in the spring.
