Women's Soccer Falls at EMU, 2-1

LIVONIA, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's soccer team fell to Eastern Michigan, 2-1, on the road at the St. Joe's Sports Dome on Sunday afternoon.

The loss extends WMU's winless streak to four games, going 0-2-2 during the stretch. Junior midfielder Claudia Schilling scored WMU's lone goal, while senior goalkeeper Maggie Rogers made eight saves. The Eagles only slightly outshot the Broncos on the day, 16-14 overall.

EMU took an early lead on a goal by Amanda Cripps in the eighth minute with an assist to Sabrina McNeill. Eastern Michigan scored again this time early in the second half in the 53rd minute.
