YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's soccer team defeated Eastern Michigan, 3-0, Sunday afternoon at Scicluna Field. The victory pushed the Broncos to 9-3-3 overall and 5-0-3 in Mid-American Conference play. WMU is now tied for first place in the conference.
The Broncos flexed their offensive muscles early in the match, getting a shot from in the opening minutes and a goal in the 12th minute. slid a beautiful ball to who beat the keeper to put the Brown and Gold in front 1-0 early in the game.
The offensive onslaught didn't stop there, with getting three shots, firing two shots and Blitchok getting one in the middle portion of the half.
