KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's soccer team will play Michigan State in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. The game will kick off on Saturday, Nov. 16 at noon at DeMartin Stadium.
The Broncos punched their ticket by winning the MAC Tournament Championship yesterday at the WMU Soccer Complex. The Brown and Gold won two games in the tournament, outscoring opponents 9-1. Western Michigan beat Kent State 4-1 in the semifinals before dominating Buffalo, 5-0, in the championship match.
WMU will be making its fourth ever tournament appearance, with the last one coming back in 2015.
