FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Grace Labadie scored her second goal of the year and Stephanie Heber needed o make just three saves as the Western Michigan women's soccer team blanked the Fort Wayne Mastodons on the road on Sunday afternoon.
WMU (3-2-0) snapped a two-game skid with its second shutout and second road shutout of the season. The Broncos outshot Fort Wayne 13-6, landing six of their shots on target.
"I'm very proud of the team and how they battled out a win on the road," said head coach Lauren Sinacola.
