KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's basketball team saw its three-game win streak come to a close Wednesday evening after a 62-59 defeat to the Detroit Titans. Kaitlyn Zarycki and Maggie Stutelburg led the Broncos with 16 points each on a combined 47.8% shooting display from the field.
The Brown and Gold were limited to five first-quarter points on Wednesday. During the first frame, Kaiden Glenn led Western Michigan with all five of the team's points.
In the second quarter, the Broncos bounced back on the offensive end of the court by doubling up their previous quarter with 11 points.
