KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women’s basketball team fell at home to Mid-American Conference (MAC) West foe Northern Illinois 80-70 despite a huge game from freshman Breanna Mobley.
The Broncos drop to 15-12 overall and 7-8 in the MAC while the Huskies improve to 11-15 overall and 4-11 in the MAC.
Mobley finished with a career-high 26 points and a career-high 13 rebounds tallying her third career double-double, all of which have come in the past four games. She shot the ball extremely efficiently, going 7-for-9 from the floor and 12-for-14 from the free-throw line.
