SOUTH BEND, Ind.. --The Western Michigan women's basketball team dropped its non-conference tilt against 14th nationally ranked Notre Dame 84-47 Thursday evening.
Kaitlyn Zarycki led the Brown and Gold with 16 points and two blocks after shooting 7-16 from the field.
The Brown and Gold exploded to a fast start in South Bend Thursday and led the Fighting Irish 7-2 after the first 2:10 of the first quarter. Zarycki, Alli Carlson, and Artemis Kouki would score during the Broncos' first three of four possessions to claim their largest lead of the game.
