WMU decided to go with some homegrown talent for their head coach, bringing in 2010 graduate Elise Swartout-Mosher to lead the team, just as she lead them as a player six years ago.

“It was definitely an honor to be selected to be the leader of this team,” Swartout-Mosher said. “There were a lot of great people that could’ve taken over the position, and I’m just really happy that they chose me.”

Since graduating, Swartout-Mosher pursued a professional career, competing in a number of professional golf leagues.

“I just love the game, and I wanted to continue playing it even after I graduated,” Swartout-Mosher said.
