OXFORD, Ohio - The Western Michigan women's basketball team dropped a second consecutive Mid-American Conference road contest on Monday, Feb. 3, at the Miami University, falling 67-70 to the RedHawks.
The Broncos shot 42.9 percent (24-of-56) from the field and led at the line with 12-of-18 (66.7 percent) shooting. The Hawks held the advantage from long range, going 8-of-19 (42.1 percent) and earning 21 points off WMU turnovers. Despite outrebounding their opponents 41-35, the Brown & Gold struggled early with turnovers, finishing the contest with 19 total. Jordan Walker led the squad with 24 points, adding seven rebounds and three assists and going 3-for-7 from beyond the arc.
