KALAMAZOO, Mich.- Trailing 55-45 after three quarters, the Western Michigan women's basketball team outscored Detroit 25-11 in the final 10 minutes to pull off a 70-66 fourth quarter comeback victory Saturday.
The win was the Broncos' (6-2 record) fourth in a row and their fifth in the last six games. Both WMU losses this year came on the road at top 25 Big Ten opponents, falling at No. 24 Michigan State on Nov. 15 and at No. 20 Northwestern a week later.
The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for Detroit, which fell to 4-5 on the season.
