KALAMAZOO, Mich. – All five starters for Western Michigan women's basketball scored in double figures as the Broncos cruised to their third straight victory with an 86-53 win over Northern Illinois on Saturday afternoon.
The starting five for WMU all scored in double figures, marking the first time this season five players have scored in double figures. The starting five of Reilly Jacobson, Taylor Williams, Maddie Watters, Sydney Shafer and Megan Wagner combined to score 77 of WMU's 86 points.
Leading the way was sophomore guard Sydney Shafer with 22 points, the fifth 20-point performance for Shafer this season.
