KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan women's basketball team announced the signing of Jasmyn Walker, a former Valparaiso student-athlete. Walker, who stands 5-foot 10-inches and is a Muskegon, Mich. native, will sit out the 2016-17 season due to the NCAA transfer rules and will have two years of eligibility starting in 2017-18.

"We are very happy with our newest addition to the Bronco Family in Jasmyn Walker," WMU head coach Shane Clipfell said. "She has a tireless work ethic and a desire to be the best player she can be. We also anticipate that she will provide us great leadership even while she sits a year in residence.
