Western Michigan former defensive lineman Marshawn Kneeland was taken with the 56th pick in 2024 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys. The second-round selection came in night two of the draft.
Kneeland forfeited his final year of college eligibility to enter the draft. He is the first ever Bronco drafted to the Cowboys.
The defensive lineman will play under head coach Mike McCarthy and defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer. Kneeland will also play alongside 2021 unanimous Defensive Rookie of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year runner up Micah Parsons.
In the 2023 season Kneeland recorded a collegiate career high 57.
