KALAMAZOO, MI - The Western Michigan football team received extra coverage Saturday, when it's ESPNU broadcast of the seven-overtime game against Buffalo ran well past its expected end time.
The national attention continued into Wednesday, when CBS Sports Radio host Jim Rome welcomed WMU running back Jarvion Franklin on his show to talk about playing in the fourth college football game to reach a seventh extra session.
"That game was totally unreal," Franklin told Rome. "The thoughts that come to mind when I look back is that the other team kept matching us tic for tac, but what I know about us is that we're not going to give up.
