WMU's Bellamy pulled hip flexor during 40-yard dash at NFL Combine; Says he will be ready for WMU pro day

Former Western Michigan running back LeVante Bellamy saw his on-field workout get cut short on Friday at the NFL Combine on Friday in Indianapolis.

Bellamy said he pulled his hip flexor about 15-yards into his first 40-yard dash attempt, which ultimately ended his day as he did not attempt a second run and sat out the rest of the drills. He still finished with a solid 4.50 time.

"Pulled it at about 15 yards and somehow still managed to run a 4.5. That's faster than what people run at their peak," Bellamy said via text message. "Just thanking God for the opportunity to be able to attend the combine and meet with coaches.
