RIO VERDE, Ariz. – Western Michigan senior Jasmine Chee sits tied for third place and just one shot off the lead after the first round of the Rio Verde Invitational, hosted by WMU at the Rio Verde Country Club on Friday.
Chee finished with an even-par round of 72 and sits in a four-way tie for third place. Arkansas State's Grayson Gladden and Seton Hall's Elizabeth Win are tied for the lead at -1.
Xavier leads the tournament overall after shooting a combined 297 (+9). ASU is in second at 299 (+11) followed by Northern Illinois at 302 (+14), Ball State at 305 (+17) and SHU at 306 (+18) to round out the top five.
