WMU women’s soccer remain undefeated with win over Butler

WMU’s Bria Telemaque came on as a sub and scored the only goal of the game. The fifth-year midfielder played just 40 minutes, but it proved to be enough. Senior Jenna Blackburn recorded three shots, two of which being on goal.

The Bronco defense stood strong in the shutout. Butler did not get a single shot off in the first half and had just three in the second. Only one Butler shot was on goal, to which goalkeeper Lauren Boafo handled.

Western turned the pressure up early as Emily Pagett put a shot on goal in the 3rd minute which was saved by Butler goalkeeper Anna Pierce.
