Western Michigan women’s basketball officially signed Alli Carlson Wednesday when the National Signing Period opened for the class of 2022. Carlson had been verbally committed to WMU since July 2020.
Carlson earned a second team All-State honor from the Associated Press this season as she, now-Northwestern freshman Jillian Brown, and Macy Brown all earned all-state honors in leading East Grand Rapids High School to a 9-3 record in limited action as high school sports recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Pioneers won a district championship and made it to the regionals in the state playoffs.
