Winning home games is something head coach Shane Clipfell believes will be crucial in Mid-American Conference play this season, saying, “That’s the key- you have to protect your home court and we have been able to do a pretty good job at that.”
The leading scorer of the night was senior forward Miracle Woods who went 11-11 in field goals and finished with 23 points and five rebounds overall. Woods said the difference in this performance was how focused and determined she was.
Woods was made aware that a player from Central Michigan University went 16-16, which tied the NCAA record.
